Just to let you know: Poetry Aloud is coming up for 2010! It is kicking off on the 1st of June - so start writing those poems and practising how to record them!
As part of the activities surrounding New Zealand Poetry Day, Rodney Libraries is running a poetry competition for Year 4 -13. Poetry shouldn’t stay on the page – it needs to be shared and read aloud. Podcasting poetry gives children and teens the opportunity to share their creativity with others around Rodney District and New Zealand.
